University library promises to be a bestseller

NEW ERA- California State University Channel Islands President Richard Rush, above, speaks at the dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the John Spoor Broome Library at the university's campus last Friday. The 137,000-square-foot facility was designed by renowned architect Lord Norman Foster. The $62 million facility, which took a 10 years to come to fruition, has become a signature building on the campus.
