Learning center celebrates anniversary

Hardy Learning Center and Academy will celebrate its fifth anniversary with an open house from 3 to 6 p.m. Fri., April 11 at the center, 697 Mobil Ave., Camarillo.

Hardy Learning Center and Academy has served more than 800 students from Ventura, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Kern counties since opening, and many community professionals, specialists and personalities have worked with the center to help children connect with learning programs.

Hardy after-school learning center programs and day school cater to students who fall between the cracks in traditional school settings because of learning and attention deficits.
