Seminar to help seniors drive safely

AlmaVia of Camarillo will host a safe driving seminar for seniors at 1:30 p.m. Fri., April 11 at AlmaVia, 2500 Ponderosa Drive, Camarillo.

The seminar is presented by Ann Love, senior driver omsbudsperson of the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Love will outline the physical and mental functional skills needed for safe driving, explain driver selfawareness through selfassessment, help seniors identify driving impairments and areas in need of correction, present strategies to help accommodate change which accompanies the aging process, discuss self-regulation of driving and explain when it is time to transition from driving.
