Join Newcomers for lunch, program

The Camarillo Newcomers Club will meet at 11 a.m. Thurs., April 17 at the Little Thai Fine Dining restaurant, 2500 Las Posas Road, Camarillo.

The social hour and business meeting will begin at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served at noon.

The program will include guest speaker Jacque Van Wagner from Trader Joe's, who will talk about creative ways to prepare food.

The club will also introduce its new cookbook, "Come Into Our Kitchens," which includes recipes from club members.

Proceeds from the cookbook sales will benefit Camarillo Hospice.
