Three males, two age 18, the other age 20, were arrested March 14 at the Ventura County Sheriff's Department Headquarters, 800 S. Victoria Ave., on charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime for allegedly assaulting and robbing a teenager at Arneill Ranch Park. Three additional people are wanted in the robbery. A 24-year-old woman was arrested March 14 on drug charges and for allegedly entering a home in the 500 block of Hacienda Drive without the homeowner's permission. Two men, ages 46 and 47, were arrested March 14 in the 700 block of Camarillo Springs Road for allegedly fighting with each other. A teenager was arrested March 16 in the 300 block of Carmen Drive for allegedly pushing and punching a 36yearold woman. Sometime between March 16 and 17, burglars broke into two locked storage sheds kept on a farm on Sturgis Road between Pleasant Valley and Del Norte roads. A 24-year-old male was arrested March 17 in the 100 block of W. Ripley Street and charged with entering an occupied home without permission. An undisclosed amount of property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 300 block of Sycamore Cottage Court sometime between March 17 and 18. A 20-year-old woman was arrested March 18 for allegedly trying to steal an undisclosed amount of merchandise from the Kmart store, 940 Arneill Road. A 25-year-old man was arrested March 18 and charged with embezzling a reported $1,100 in merchandise from his employer, the Home Depot hardware store, 401 W. Ventura Blvd. An 18-year-old male was arrested March 18 at Heritage Park and charged with possession of alcohol. An armed gunman robbed the Payless Shoe store, 309 W. Ventura Blvd., March 18 at around 8:20 p.m. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. No one was injured. Two juveniles were arrested March 19 for allegedly trying to steal an undisclosed amount of merchandise from the Kmart store, 940 Arneill Road. Thieves siphoned about 10 gallons of gas from a car parked in the 4800 block of Santa Rosa Road on March 19. A 28-year-old man was arrested March 19 for allegedly trying to steal more than $400 in building material from the Home Depot hardware store, 401 W. Ventura Blvd. A 23-year-old man was arrested March 19 in the 1100 block of W. Ventura Boulevard for allegedly violating his parole by being in possession of a handgun and ammunition. Shoplifters stole 11 men's suits from the Hugo Boss clothing store, 950 Camarillo Center Drive, March 19. Vandals spray painted the fence of a home in the 800 block of Calle Circulo sometime between March 19 and 21. A rear door was damaged on March 20 by unknown burglars who attempted to break into a Haas Automation building, 312 Balboa Circle. A car parked in the 400 block of Carmen Drive was burglarized March 20. A 13-year-old female was arrested March 21 on suspicion of setting fire at a public park in the 5000 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard. Burglars stole copper wire from locked storage units kept at a business in the 3700 block of Dufau Road sometime between March 20 and 21. A burglar broke into the garage of a home in the 1500 block of N. Bedford Drive sometime between March 21 and 23. Nothing was reported stolen. A car parked in the 600 block of Lantana Street was burglarized sometime between March 21 and 23. A car stereo was reported stolen. A 19-year-old male was arrested March 22 in the 5200 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard on charges of petty theft. A 22-year-old man was arrested March 22 in the 2300 block of Antonio Avenue on suspicion of causing more than $400 in vandalism to property in the 2900 block of Dwight Avenue. A 37-year-old man was arrested March 24 in the 100 block of Mesa Drive on charges of domestic battery and violation of his parole. An alleged shoplifter was arrested March 22 for reportedly trying to steal merchandise from the Vons supermarket, 5275 Mission Oaks Blvd. An unknown man was reported watching a 54-year-old woman through the sliding glass door of her home in the 3700 block of Germaine Street on March 23 around 11:15 p.m. The man reportedly had his pants down and was exposing himself.
Between March 16 and March 23, police reported arresting 13 people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, five people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, seven people were arrested on various drug charges and two were arrested for allegedly being drunk in public. |
