Vandals caused about $50 in damage to the Boys & Girls Club, 1500 Temple Ave., sometime between March 10 and 11.

A juvenile at a children's shelter in the 1700 block of S. Lewis Road was arrested March 11 on battery and vandalism charges.

A 54-year-old man was arrested March 12 near the Del Norte Road offramp on the southbound side of the 101 Freeway for allegedly driving with a concealed handgun in his car.

A home under construction in the 2000 block of E. La Loma Road was burglarized sometime between March 12 and 13. A portable generator was reported stolen.

A car parked in the 400 block of Deerhurst Avenue was burglarized sometime between March 12 and 13. An undisclosed amount of property was stolen.

A thief stole keys from an unlocked car parked in the 400 block of Fallen Leaf Avenue sometime between March 12 and 13.

A car parked in the 300 block of Spindlewood Avenue was burglarized sometime between March 12 and 13.

More than $57,000 in property was stolen from a home in the 600 block of Crestview Drive sometime between March 12 and 14.

More than $400 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 400 block of Apple Tree Avenue sometime between March 12 and 13. Subsequently, Los Angeles Sheriff's Department deputies arrested a 22-year-old Santa Paula man on March 14 on drug charges. The man was allegedly found in possession of stolen property from the thefts on Apple Tree. Los Angeles Sheriff's detectives contacted the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, and the man was arrested on a charge of grand theft.

A laptop, jewelry and CDs were stolen from two unlocked cars parked in the 4200 block of Stonetree Avenue sometime between March 12 and 13.

A student at Phoenix School, 500 Airport Way, was arrested March 13 on suspicion of bringing a folding knife onto school property.

The bed sides were stolen off a truck parked in the 100 block of Calle La Guerra on March 13.

A 22-year-old man was arrested March 15 in the 1500 block of E. Regent Street on charges of grand theft.

A 50-year-old man was arrested March 15 after allegedly entering an attached garage in the 400 block of Staunton Street while trying to flee police officers. He was charged with evading a police officer and various drug offenses.

A car parked in the 600 block of Lantana Avenue was burglarized March 15. The victim reported his music CDs were stolen.

Thieves stole a generator from the back of a work truck parked in the 3300 block of E. Faria Street sometime between March 15 and 16.

Between March 11 and 15, police reported arresting 12 people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, two people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and three people were arrested on various drug charges.
