Focus on finding site for dog park

This letter is in regards to the March 14 letter by Warren Matsui, who thanked the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District for reconsidering its plans for a dog park at the Camarillo Community Center Park.

Mr. Matsui wrote, "it has been a long, time-consuming fight against the proposed dog park site." That certainly is a true statement from Mr. Matsui, evidenced by the number of flyers he distributed with such titles as "Please help save our neighborhood" and "Please help us in stopping the building of the dog park," in addition to the numerous videos, reports, pictures, and letters he sent to PVRPD.

It would be nice if Mr. Matsui would consider devoting some of his considerable energy and time to help the park district find a more appropriate location. There are many of us who would appreciate a neighborhood dog park where we can take our dogs to socialize with other dogs.
