Is glad to see dog park plans nixed

I would like to thank the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District for reconsidering its plans for the dog park at the Camarillo Community Center Park. As you know, there has been growing opposition to the dog park site as evidenced by the growing public outcry on the subject.

It has been a long, timeconsuming fight against the proposed dog park site.

As someone whose home neighbors the park, I have lived next to the unsightly mounds of dirt for quite some time now. I hope the park district will now devote its efforts to make that grassy area a nice beautiful area so that we can all be proud of living by it again. Warren Matsui Camarillo
