Is glad to see dog park plans nixed
      I would like to thank the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District for reconsidering its plans for the dog park at the Camarillo Community Center Park. As you know, there has been growing opposition to the dog park site as evidenced by the growing public outcry on the subject.

'Infamous' poor word to describe Enola Gay
      Regarding the March 7 article "Camarillo Navy pilot shares daring war adventures piloting seaplane," the use of the word "infamous" to describe the Enola Gay is, at best, inappropriate. That aircraft may be infamous in Japan, but certainly not in the U.S.
