Lions offer scholarships

Pleasant Valley Lions Club is offering $3,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors who lived in Camarillo or Somis in the past school year and plan on attending university, community college or technical/trade school within the next school year.

Applicants will be evaluated on community service, work experience, written essay, grade point average and two letters of recommendation.

Applications are available online at www.pvlions.org. Completed applications must be received by Thurs., May 1.
