JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers
TECH CHECK- The Barona Band of Mission Indians recently awarded Las Posas Elementary School a $5,000 technology grant. Principal Julie Antilla-Garza, left, and Pleasant Valley School District Superintendent Luis Villegas, second from left, accept the check from Assemblymember Audra Strickland (R-Westlake Village), as Pleasant Valley School Board Trustee Sandra Berg, far right, takes part in the ceremony at the elementary school last Friday. The money will be used to buy electronic whiteboards, projectors and rolling carts for the school's two fifth-grade classrooms.
