Student artwork shines at exhibit

KNOWS WHAT SHE LIKES- Camarillo resident Isis Rocha, 5, points out to her sister, Itzel, 8, and grandmother, Minerva Perez, a particularly eye-catching piece of artwork at the annual Rising Star Middle School Art Show on Sunday at the Camarillo Art Center. The show includes more than 60 art pieces created by public and private middle school students from throughout the Pleasant Valley. The show can be viewed Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will be on display through March 16.
