Vandals broke the windows of a business in the 2700 block of Barry Street sometime between Feb. 14 and 20. The vandals caused more than $1,100 in damages to the business.

Burglars broke into a classroom at Las Colinas Middle School, 5750 Fieldcrest Drive, sometime between Feb. 15 and 19. The burglars caused $258 in damages.

Burglars broke into a business in the 300 block of N. Lantana Street sometime between Feb. 15 and 19 and stole two laptop computers.

A thief stole an $80 car stereo faceplate from an unlocked car parked in the 900 block of Andante Court sometime between Feb. 18 and 19.

Sometime between Feb. 18 and 19, a wallet was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 10 block of Green Vale Drive.

Burglars broke into a business in the 4300 block of Santa Clara Avenue on Feb. 19. An alarm sounded and nothing was reported stolen.

A shoplifter stole an undisclosed number of DVDs and video games from the Blockbuster Video store, 2291 Pickwick Dr., on Feb. 20.

Two men, ages 29 and 41, and a 25-year-old woman were arrested Feb. 20 for allegedly stealing tiles from the front of the Home Depot hardware store, 400 W. Ventura Blvd. All three were arrested on multiple felony charges, including conspiracy to commit a crime. The 29-year-old man was charged with three outofcounty warrants stemming from earlier driving violations. The woman was also arrested for two outofcounty warrants, one of which stemmed from charges of obstructing a police officer.

An 18-year-old man was arrested Feb. 20 in the 1400 block of Del Norte Road for allegedly being in possession of a graffiti device.

A con artist used a fraudulent traveler's check to pay for $500 in merchandise from the Timberland clothing store, 690 W. Ventura Blvd., on Feb. 21.

A 19-year-old male was arrested Feb. 22 at the Motel 6, 1641 E. Ventura Blvd., for allegedly being in a room with three juveniles, two of whom were listed as runaways. The third juvenile was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant stemming from an earlier arrest for an undisclosed reason. Police allegedly also found marijuana in the motel room.

A 25-year-old man was arrested Feb. 22 and charged with stealing an undisclosed amount of merchandise from the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Blvd.

A car parked in the 400 block of Carmen Drive was burglarized Feb. 22. More than $3,400 in property was reported stolen.

A 19-year-old man was arrested Feb. 23 for allegedly stealing two croissants from Rolling Pin Donuts, 2153 Las Posas Road.

A 29-year-old man was arrested Feb. 24 on a charge of stealing an undisclosed amount of merchandise from the Kmart store, 940 Arneill Road.

Someone was arrested Feb. 23 for reportedly trying to steal merchandise from the General Nutrition Center vitamin store, 856 Arneill Road.

A 22-year-old man was arrested Feb. 25 near the 101 Freeway onramp on Central Avenue for an outstanding warrant stemming from an earlier misdemeanor arrest.

Between Feb. 19 and Feb. 25, police reported arresting seven people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, one person was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and four people were arrested on various drug charges.
