Educators feel 'underappreciated'

Have you heard the latest news at "Pleasant" Valley School District? The district recently offered teachers a 2 percent raise, actually one percent less than a previous 3 percent raise offered a few months ago.

What negotiators in their right minds decrease an offer to hardworking, dedicated and committed teachers? You may be wondering how our teachers in Pleasant Valley are feeling. You guessed it- underpaid, and now certainly underappreciated. We are living in an unpleasant valley.
