Officials announce theme of county fair
One of the best, board president says

The board of directors of the Ventura County Fairgrounds announced recently that the theme of the 133rd Ventura County Fair will be "Meet Me at the Fair."

"'Meet Me at the Fair' is one of the best themes we have ever had," said Kenneth M. Hess, board president. "It is a theme we can all relate to. Many of our families, friends and neighbors meet at the fair every year."

The fair brings together friends and family who come to see the educational, the entertaining, the latest in technology, arts and agriculture.

The fair will take place Wed., July 30 through Sun., Aug. 10.
