Local author to speak at library

The Camarillo Library will host local author Alice Rene at 2 p.m. Sun., Feb. 24 at the library, 4101 Las Posas Road.

Rene will discuss her childhood experiences of escaping from the Nazis in Vienna to Latvia, Russia, Japan and ending in Portland, Ore. She will also talk about her attempts to fit in with her peers in America.
