University has new VP
Wilson to oversee fundraising

California State University Channel Islands President Richard R. Rush has announced that Julia C. Wilson will be the vice president for university advancement.

Wilson will begin her duties overseeing development and fundraising activities for the university on March 3. She will also work with the university's communications and marketing unit to support those endeavors.

Wilson comes to CSUCI from the Grameen Foundation where she served as the foundation's executive director of development for the West Coast region.

Prior to her work with Grameen, she was the chief executive officer for CommNexus, a 250company sponsored trade organization serving the telecommunications industry in San Diego.
