Firm to honor Camarillo attorney

Camarillo resident Joel Mark of Nordman Cormany Hair and Compton LLC, a Ventura County-based law firm, was honored recently at the Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association annual business meeting for his work as president in 2007.

Mark has been a board member with the association for seven years.

Mark has 35 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with trial work in all California state and federal courts.

In addition to chairing the firm's litigation group, he is a member of several other law groups, including creditor's rights and bankruptcy, intellectual property, and oil and gas.

Mark was a charter member of the Los Angeles Association of Business Trial Lawyers and a member of the Ventura and Los Angeles county bar associations.

He received his undergraduate education at UC Berkeley and his legal education at the UC Hastings College of the Law.
