Award nominations open

The Business and Technology Partnership at California State University Channel Islands is accepting nominations for the 2008 Business Leader of the Year and the 2008 Technologist of the Year awards.

Forms and criteria for nominations are available at www.csuci.edu/about/btp. Nomination deadline is Mon., Feb. 25.

The Business and Technology Partnership fosters regional collaboration between the university and Ventura, Santa Barbara and northern Los Angeles County businesses, and promotes technological excellence among the university's students, faculty and staff.

The award winners will be honored at the Business and Technology Partnership Leadership Dinner sponsored by the CSUCI Foundation and Santa Barbara Bank and Trust.
