High school and hospital don't mix The picture of the sign indicating the proposed new high school site on Las Posas Road behind the Camarillo Library in the Feb. 8 Camarillo Acorn should also have shown the other side of the street, the side on which St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital resides. Every time I pass the sign, I just wonder why a loud, noisy, crowded high school would be built across the street from a hospital. Never mind the parking. How will the noise of construction affect patients at the hospital? And does the high school plan to have a football field? That crowd noise would be especially difficult on the patients.
