A student at Frontier High School, 545 Airport Way, was arrested Jan. 29 for allegedly punching a teacher.

Pickpockets stole the wallet from the jacket pocket of a man in the 300 block of Arneill Road on Jan. 29.

Vandals caused $200 in damages to a car parked in the 1400 block of Del Norte Drive sometime between Jan. 29 and 30.

A 50-year-old man was arrested Jan. 30 in the 1700 block of S. Lewis Road on charges of making criminal threats.

A shoplifter caught stealing a bottle of vodka allegedly punched and pushed a cashier at CVS Pharmacy, 351 Carmen Drive, on Jan. 30. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

Vandals caused $30 in damage to car parked in the 2200 block of Gorman Street sometime between Jan. 30 and 31.

Two teenagers, ages 18 and 19, were arrested on battery charges Jan. 31 in the 500 block of N. Las Posas Road for their alleged involvement in the beating of a 39year-old security guard. Another man, age 20, is also suspected in the fight and is current;y wanted by police.

A home in the 2000 block of Via Tomas was burglarized Jan. 31 sometime between 8 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

A suspected shoplifter was arrested Feb. 2 for allegedly stealing $375 in merchandise from the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Blvd.

A 29-year-old man was arrested Feb. 2 near the intersection of Carmen and Daily drives on suspicion of multiple charges, including forgery and petty theft.

A 23-year-old man was arrested Feb. 2 at the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Blvd., on charges of petty theft.

A shoplifter stole a pair of boots from the Timberland clothing store, 740 E. Ventura Blvd., on Feb. 2.

A purse was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 200 block of Hughes Drive on Feb. 2.

A 20-year-old man was arrested Feb. 2 on battery charges for his alleged involvement in a fight in the 1100 block of Red Oak Place.

A driver's license and checkbook were stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 1700 block of E. Ventura Boulevard on Feb. 3.

A car parked in the 2300 block of Chapel Drive was burglarized Feb. 3. An iPod digital music player was stolen.

Between Jan. 30 and Feb. 4, police reported arresting 19 people for driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, four people were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, seven people were arrested on various drug charges and two were arrested for being drunk in public.
