Strawberry mixer to thank sponsors

The 25th Anniversary California Strawberry Festival will host a Capital Club Mixer from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 7 at the Courtyard by Marriott, 600 E. Esplanade Drive in Oxnard.

The event is the festival's way of saying thank you to the local businesses, community leaders and regional nonprofit organizations whose Capital Club memberships support the festival.

Admission is free, and the deadline to RSVP for the event is Mon., Feb. 4. Reservations can be made by calling (805) 385-4739, ext. 100.
