Locals win thousands in early bird drawing
Grand prize awarded in March

Four local families recently won a total of $17,000 in the first early bird drawing for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme's House of Ten Thousand Dreams Home Raffle.

Tai Kim of Oxnard was the top winner, taking home $10,000 to his wife and two small children, who he says will be future club members.

Tifney Bertram of Ventura won $5,000, and Oxnard residents Rebecca Branscome and Richard McDonald each won $1,000. Three other California residents were also winners of $1,000 each.

The final drawing is Mon., March 31.

The grand prize is the House Of Ten Thousand Dreams, a new waterview home in the Seabridge community at Channel Islands Harbor, or $1 million cash. Second prize is a 2007 HarleyDavidson Fat Boy motorcycle.
