Hindus to celebrate Republic Day

The Hindu Temple and Cultural Center, Ventura County will celebrate Republic Day on Sun., Feb. 3 at the temple's new temporary location. Call the phone numbers below for driving directions.

The program is: 4 to 4:30 p.m., open bhajans by devotees; 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., pravachan/bhajans led by Acharya Narinder Shastri; 5:30 to 5:45 p.m., children's program; 5:45 to 6 p.m., aarti and wrap-up. Preeti bhoj (food offerings) by temple volunteers follows at 6 p.m.
