WWII museum to host grand reopening

Commemorative Air Force WWII Aviation Museum will celebrate a grand reopening of the museum hangar to the public Sat., Feb. 9 at the museum, 455 Aviation Drive in Camarillo.

A flyable aircraft has been added to the collection, along with some new and upgraded exhibits.

The museum hangar interior was closed to the public for over five months while making some necessary improvements inside the museum building.

The gift shop has also reopened, with the full selection of gift items.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is temporarily closed Monday and Wednesday while docents are trained. An admission donation is requested. For more information, call (805) 482-0064.
