Art center sets February schedule
'Musings in Watercolor' to open next month

The Camarillo Art Center will hold a reception for the exhibit "Musings in Watercolor" 1 to 4 p.m. Sun., Feb. 3 at the center, 3150 Ponderosa Drive.

The exhibit runs Feb. 2 to 23 and showcases works by artists from all over Ventura County who have studied with Patty Van Dyke over the last several years.

Van Dyke is an award-winning artist, member of the Los Padres Art Society, Santa Barbara Art Association and the Society of Layerists in Multi-Media.

Exhibitors include Toni Jones, Dorothy Scovil, Martin Perrier, Ted Lombard, Kathleen White, Jo Mason, Vicki Dunbar, Elaine Brinkerhoff, Ellen Evanow, Laurie Froula and Teresa Pardini.

The center will also hold a presentation and demonstration at 7:30 p.m. Wed., Feb. 20. The meeting, "Museum Quality Framing" and "Z Photography," will talk about framing art and the latest in giclee printing, along with art photography.

Admission is free for members, $5 for nonmembers. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.

The Camarillo Art Center is an allvolunteer, nonprofit organization. The gallery is open 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
