Dinner group to discuss range of topics

The Camarillo Council on Aging, in conjunction with the Lifelong Learning Institute at California State University Channel Islands, presents Dessert and Discourse from 7 to 9 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month, beginning Feb. 5 at 3639 Ponderosa Drive, Bldg. F, Ste. 161.

The program will last through May. A university professor and students will prepare a topic for discussion with a small group of participants. Topics include multiculturalism, the effect of baby boomers on culture, business ethics and misconduct, life in Cuba today, national elections 2008, a poetry workshop, international relations, and film and society.
