Learning about law enforcement

CONGRATULATIONS- Three Frontier High School students, from left, Violeta Gonzalez, Nancy Renteria and Jose Tapia, graduated from the Oxnard Police Department's Youth Academy in December. The graduation ceremony was held at Oxnard City Hall last month with Officer Ryan Carey, back row, and Sgt. Ron Whitney. The 60-hour program teaches teens about law enforcement, with subjects ranging from probation to juvenile rights.
