Bikers, celebrities on toy run

FOR THE KIDS- Actor and legendary drummer Mickey Jones, center, waits with Santa and another motorcyclist for last month's Kids2Kids sixth annual Toy Run that began in Camarillo. Jones and Nick St. Nicholas, former bass player for Steppenwolf, were grand marshals for the nonprofit group's toy drive, which netted about 100 playthings. The agency was able to give approximately 980 toys to children, many from families in need, across Ventura County. Employees of Haas Automation in Oxnard donated about 700 toys to the effort. Last year the agency gave away 2,500 toys.
