Police investigating double stabbings
      Police are investigating the stabbings of a 27-year-old man and a 15-year-old male youth. The two were attacked Dec. 6 around 12:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of W. Los Angeles Avenue in an unincorporated area of Ventura County just north of Camarillo.

Camarillo girl at home on track
      When David Seino was 6, he got a bike, and his parents took him out to their local BMX track in Simi Valley. "We thought we'd just go out there for fun and let him ride for a little bit," Lisa Seino said. "Oh, no. He got on the bike in July 1999 and became an expert in less than a year.

Charity begins at home
     BY CANDLELIGHT— Camarillo resident Kris Clark was one of many guests who enjoyed the eighth annual Camarillo Ranch Holiday Candlelight Gala at the historic Adolfo Camarillo Ranch Home Dec. 5. The gala is the Camarillo Ranch Foundation's major fundraising event of the year and includes holiday decorations, live music, a wine bar and an auction. Money raised is used to help preserve and operate the oldest home in the city. The photo was provided by William Taber of Camarillo.
