Soccer team posts perfect record
     ON TOP—The Real SoCal girls' U-11 Black soccer team finished first in the Coast Soccer League Silver North Division. The team was undefeated this year and next year will play in the Silver Elite Division. Pictured in the front row, from left, are Rachel Finegold, Megan Demijohn and Nicki Volante. Youth football league holding Super Bowl games in Simi Valley
      The Gold Coast Youth Football League will play its Super Bowl IV and Championship Division games Saturday at Royal High in Simi Valley. Throughout the day and night there will be raffles, 50/50 drawings, food and drinks, and the announcement of the league's scholastic achievement recipients.

Eagles soar in pair of tournaments
     QUALIFIED FOR FINALS—The Camarillo Eagles girls' under-12 Blue team played in two soccer tournaments over successive weekends in late August and early September—the Los Angeles Rampage Pre-Season Kickoff Classic and the Simi Valley Labor Day Invitational—and qualified for the championship game both times. Although the Camarillo team didn't come out with the first-place trophy in either of the two tourneys, the team went 7-2-1. The players are Megan Amato, Julia Berman, Michaela Cosentino, Megan Garrety, Kendall Lewis, Valita Stoke, Lily Montero, McKenna Norton, Jenna Field, Samantha Ring, Sarah Shaffer, Adrina Palacios, Jessica Zlaket and goalkeeper Coral Suarez. The team is coached by Stephanie Staniland, and the team manager is Larry Field.
