Brownies prove editing is child's play

EDITORS IN THE MAKING—Camarillo Brownie Troop #48 visited the offices of the Camarillo Acorn Nov. 21 to learn about newspapers and how reporters, photographers and editors work together to bring a city its news. The girls worked as teams of "editors" to assemble their own front pages. The troop includes, back row left to right, Ashley Leonard, Alexis Leonard, Emily Morefield, April Bryant, Katina Saenz and front row, left to right, Ginny Fraser, Jessica Tietz, Kayla Woodley and Jade McCulloch. The girls did such a good job with their projects, the editor is considering internships for the entire troop.
