Camarillo Blotter A home in the 2000 block of W. Chapel Drive was burglarized sometime between Oct. 31 and Nov. 4. The victim reported $150,000 in jewelry was stolen from her home. A car parked in the 300 block of Paseo Camarillo was burglarized sometime between Nov. 3 and 4. A personal navigation system and an iPod transmitter, totaling $180, were stolen. That same night in the 400 block of Paseo Camarillo, another car was burglarized. A $50 stereo, a $10 cellphone charger and a garage remote were reported stolen. A 47-year-old man was arrested Nov. 4 in the 2100 block of Wilcox Street on charges of spousal battery. It was reported Nov. 4 that a 19year-old female and a 23-year-old man are suspected of stealing $1,100 in jewelry from the bedroom of a home in the 800 block of N. Calle La Sombra. A car parked in the 300 block of Calle La Roda was burglarized Nov. 4. A laptop computer, paperwork and a cellphone were reported stolen. An 18-year-old female was arrested Nov. 5 at the Camarillo Police Station, 3701 E. Las Posas Road, and charged with using a fraudulent credit card to purchase $553 in merchandise from the La Coste clothing store in the 900 block of Camarillo Center Drive. A 29-year-old man was arrested Nov. 5 in the 40 block of Gypsy Lane on charges of illegal entry into a home and battery. A 19-year-old man was arrested Nov. 5 in the 200 block of Ventura Boulevard and charged with stealing a jacket from a nearby store. A 48-year-old man was arrested Nov. 5 in the 50 block of Park & Ride Boulevard on multiple misdemeanor warrants stemming from various alleged driving violations. The man was also cited for giving a false name to a police officer. A car parked in the 1000 block of Tempe Avenue was burglarized sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. A flashlight was stolen. A vandal caused more than $400 in damage to car parked at the Avalon Camarillo Apartments sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. A car in the 2100 block of Chandler Street was burglarized sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. A car parked near Picket Avenue and Golden Pond was burglarized sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. The victim reported more than $3,800 in stolen property from the trunk of the car and about $600 in damage to the vehicle. A car parked in the 100 block of W. Calle La Guerra was burglarized sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. About $325 in property was reported stolen. A car parked in the 400 block of Paseo Camarillo was burglarized sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. A $400 car stereo was stolen, and the victim reported $400 in damage to his car. A car parked in the 900 block of Fairchild Avenue was burglarized sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. A $300 car stereo was reported stolen. Two cars parked in the 1300 block of Tamarix Street were burglarized sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. According to police reports, a highend stereo was stolen from one car, while the thieves were unable to remove the stereo from the other. A car in the 100 block of Ripley Street was burglarized sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. The victim reported $220 in stolen property and nearly $300 in damage to his car. Two cars parked in the 2700 block of Waverly Avenue were burglarized Nov. 6. An undisclosed amount of property was stolen. The storage unit of a residence in the 800 block of Paseo Camarillo was burglarized sometime between Nov. 5 and 6. The victim reported $725 in stolen property. A 29-year-old man was arrested Nov. 6 in the 300 block of Mobil Avenue on charges that he broke a restraining order. A vandal used a black pen to cause less than $400 in damage to Somis School's playground equipment, 5268 North St. in Somis. The vandalism occurred Nov. 6. A 25-year-old man was arrested Nov. 7 in the 1600 block of E. Daily Drive on charges of battery. Burglars attempted to break into the Goodwill store, 267 Arneill Road, on Nov. 8. A gas mask was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 900 block of Paseo Camarillo on Nov. 8. A burglar tried to break into a vacant home in the 5600 block of Heatherton Drive in Somis on Nov. 8 sometime between 5 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. A 26-year-old woman was arrested Nov. 8 in the 2100 block of Dunnigan Street on charges of spousal battery. A car parked in the 1600 block of Shoreline Drive was burglarized sometime between Nov. 8 and 9. The victim reported $1,350 in stolen property. About $116 in merchandise was stolen from Linens 'n Things, 351 W. Ventura Blvd., on Nov. 9. A vandal scratched the paint of a car parked in the 700 block of E. Ventura Boulevard on Nov. 9. While standing in front of his home in the 2200 block of Daily Drive, a 29-year-old man was stabbed in the arm on Nov. 9 around 9:45 p.m. by an unknown assailant who, according to the victim, started an unprovoked fight. A car parked in the 2400 block of Pickwick Drive was burglarized sometime between Nov. 9 and 10. The victim reported $1,175 in stolen property and $700 in damage to her car. A car parked in the 2800 block of Antonio Drive was burglarized sometime between Nov. 10 and 11. The victim reported $120 in stolen property. Between Nov. 4 and Nov. 10, police reported arresting 16 people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, four people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence, seven people were arrested on various drug charges and three were arrested and charged with being drunk in public. |
