Halloween Carnival delights Calvary Chapel
COOL!—Camarillo resident James Park, 4, above, is fascinated by a North American Box Turtle during a presentation Oct. 31 by The Reptile Family at the seventh annual Calvary Chapel Halloween Carnival in Camarillo. The Reptile Family is a Thousand Oaks-based group of animal handlers who bring snakes, lizards and other reptiles to students throughout Southern California. The free carnival included a rock wall, slides, game booths, candy, music and food. At right, Camarillo resident Nasir Jones, 2, dressed in his horse costume, enjoys some cotton candy.
