Federal receiver expected to visit Camarillo next week

      Federal Receiver J. Clark Kelso was supposed to visit the Ventura Youth Correctional Facility in Camarillo in early June. Concerned residents, including Kathi Miller, wanted to attend the tour and ask Kelso questions, but the receiver canceled the visit at the last minute.

Local CHP office will host job fair

      Local residents between the ages of 20 and 35 who are considering a career in law enforcement are invited to attend the California Highway Patrol Job Fair from 1 to 5 p.m. Thurs. Nov. 13 at the Moorpark Police Services Center on Spring Road.
