Calvary Chapel hosts carnival
      Calvary Chapel Camarillo will hold its seventh annual Halloween carnival from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Fri., Oct. 31 at the church, 380 Mobil Ave., Camarillo. The event will include slides, a rock wall, Jolly Jumps, game booths, hot dogs, candy and prizes. The "Reptile Family" will present a hands-on reptile exhibit.

Church to hold 'Trunk or Treat'
      Camarillo Community Church will hold its annual "Trunk or Treat" event from 6 to 8 p.m. Fri., Oct. 31 at the church, 1322 Las Posas Road, Camarillo. The event will feature decorated trunks filled with candy and games, family photographs, games and prizes, Jolly Jumps, face painting and a cupcake walk. Barbecued food will be available for purchase.
