Hospital to host breast cancer awareness event

Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center will hold its 12th annual Breast Cancer Awareness event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Oct. 25 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.

The event will feature guest speaker Diahann Carroll, a singer, actress and breast cancer survivor.

A panel of medical experts will discuss clinical updates on breast cancer. On the panel will be medical oncologist Anita Kaul, MD; radiologist Catherine Moses, MD; radiation oncologist Paul Miller, MD; plastic surgeon Kouros Azar, MD; and clinical social worker Barbara Harris, MSW, LCSW.

"Cups of Courage—The Sisterhood of the Traveling Bras" will be on display. The event will also include a complimentary breakfast and vendor information booths.
