Burglars broke into two locked storage rooms at Ciao Wireless, 4000 Via Pescador, and stole nearly $5,000 in property sometime between Oct. 6 and 7.

It was reported Oct. 7 that a catalytic converter was stolen from a pickup truck parked in the 500 block of Calle La Roda sometime between Oct. 5 and 6.

Police arrested a 43-year-old man Oct. 7 in the 4900 block of Alta Colina Road on charges of battery. During his arrest, the man, who weighed 300 pounds, allegedly fought with police and was charged with resisting arrest.

Vandals broke the window of a car parked in the 400 block of Manzanita Street on Oct. 7. The victim reported $198 in damages.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested Oct. 7 in the 1700 block of Ventura Boulevard on suspicion of driving a car with a stolen license plate that did not match her vehicle.

Burglars broke into a locked cargo trailer on Westpark Court on the north side of the Village at the Park housing development and stole more than $5,000 in property sometime between Oct. 7 and 8.

Two men, ages 27 and 19, were arrested Oct. 8 and charged with stealing a video game console and an iPod from an apartment in the 600 block of N. Las Posas Road that same day.

About $550 was stolen from a purse left unattended in the 1800 block of Daily Drive on Oct. 8.

It was reported Oct. 8 that two men, ages 23 and 39, were arrested Oct. 5 and charged with stealing less than $400 in merchandise from America's Tire store, 323 Carmen Drive.

A vandal caused less than $400 in damage by using a marker to write on a wall at the Lamplighter Mobile Home Park, 3905 Via Rosal, on Oct. 8.

A 27-year-old man was arrested Oct. 9 and charged with punching two men, ages 25 and 19, in the 50 block of E. Daily Drive.

A vandal used a rock to smash the window of a home in the 2100 block of Westwood Drive on Oct. 9.

A purse was stolen from a car parked in the 2300 block of E. Pleasant Valley Road sometime between Oct. 9 and 10.

A 41-year-old man was arrested Oct. 10 on charges of prowling when he was found hidden in the backyard of a home in the 5100 block of Hillridge Drive.

A home in the 200 block of Calle De La Rosa was burglarized Oct. 10 sometime between 6:30 and 11 p.m. A reported $1,210 in property was stolen.

A 27-year-old man was arrested Oct. 10 near East Loop and San Ysidro on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and for his alleged involvement in a car accident at Las Posas Road and Temple Avenue earlier that night.

A stereo was stolen from a burglarized car parked in the 700 block of Mobil Avenue sometime between Oct. 10 and 11.

A bicycle was stolen from a property in the 700 block of Paseo Camarillo on Oct. 11.

A 48-year-old woman was arrested Oct. 11 in the 300 block of W. Ventura Boulevard and charged with pushing a 44-year-old woman.

A 31-year-old man was arrested Oct. 11 in the 80 block of E. Daily Drive on charges of resisting arrest.

A 54-year-old man was arrested Oct. 11 in the 50 block of San Miguel Drive on charges of spousal battery.

A car parked in the 800 block of Arneill Road was burglarized sometime between Oct. 11 and 12.

An undisclosed amount of property was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 5000 block of Paseo Montelena Road on Oct. 12.

Two women, ages 44 and 47, were arrested Oct. 12 in connection with a fight in the 1900 block of E. Daily Drive.

Burglars broke into a business in the 4500 block of Pleasant Valley Road on Oct. 13 and stole an unknown amount of prescription medication.

Between Oct. 7 and 13, police reported arresting 18 people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, two people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, seven people were arrested on various drug charges and one person was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
