'Little Shop of Horrors' to open
     'FEED ME'—Leads of the Camarillo Community Theatre's production of "Little Shop of Horrors," Elizabeth Stockton, left, and Daniel Noble, show off Audrey II, a plant of mysterious origin with a taste for human blood. The play is a musical variation of the Faust story and is scheduled to run Oct. 17 through Nov. 23 at the theater, 330 Skyway Drive, at the Camarillo Airport. 'Horrors' gala includes 'Skid Row' meal
      Camarillo Community Theatre will host an opening night gala for their production of "Little Shop of Horrors" at 8 p.m. tonight, Fri., Oct. 17, at the theater, 330 Skyway Drive, Camarillo. The event will include a minimeal served on the sidewalks of "Skid Row." Reservations are recommended.

Stargazers meet tonight
      The Ventura County Astronomical Society will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Fri., Oct. 17 at Vista Elementary School, 2175 Wisteria St., Simi Valley. Guest speaker David Doody will discuss Cassini-Huygens at Saturn. Doody is the flight operations lead engineer for Cassini's Mission Support and Services Office.

Sculpture on display at weekend Art Walk
      Camarillo resident Celia Hartman Reich will exhibit her sculpture "Back to the Garden" during the Harvest Artwalk Sat., Oct. 18 and Sun., Oct. 19 at Red Brick Gallery, 328 E. Main St., Ventura. The sculpture is the first in a series Reich released through Camarillo-based Sono Fine Art Publishing.
