WENDY PIERRO/Acorn Newspapers REMEMBERING A JOURNALIST—Members of the Hueneme High School Ballet Folklorico dance troupe perform Oct. 12 outside the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo at Pleasant Valley Park as part of Daniel Pearl Music Day. The event commemorates Pearl's birthday. He was a Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and killed in 2002 by Pakistani terrorists just months after 9/11.
