Seafood festival to feature entertainment, kids' activities
      The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum will hold a seafood festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., Oct. 11 at the museum, 113 Harbor Way, Ste. 190, Santa Barbara. Admission is $2. Children age 5 and under are free. The event schedule is: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.—Tall ship dockside tours.

Race makes art move
      The 11th annual Kinetic Sculpture Race will be held on Sat., Oct. 25 at the Ventura Harbor. The race is sponsored by the Ventura Players Club and will include a Poker Run. At the end of each challenge, each entry will receive a playing card. The team with the best poker hand will win $500.
