A 20-year-old woman allegedly stole a cellphone from a home in the 2700 block of Via Del Nogal Drive sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 2.

Sometime between Sept. 1 and 2, a thief stole more than $2,300 from a restaurant in the 700 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A purse was stolen in the 200 block of Arneill Road on Sept. 2.

It was reported Sept. 2 that a car's registration, its title of ownership and a collection of CDs were stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 500 block of Lantana Street sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.

It was reported Sept. 2 that six men who used the basketball court at the Camarillo YMCA, 3111 Village at the Park Drive, to play basketball after the YMCA was closed were charged with causing more than $400 in damages to the window blinds sometime between Aug. 29 and Sept. 1. According to police, the YMCA's front door was open when the men came to play basketball. In addition, the men signed in at the front desk although there were no employees present, police said. Following the initial response by patrol deputies, police said nothing was reported missing or damaged at the facility.

Someone broke into a building used by the American Red Cross Ventura County, 836 Calle Plano, sometime between Sept. 2 and 3.

A 20-year-old man was arrested Sept. 3 near Carmen Drive and Ventura Boulevard and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. The man reportedly did not have a valid driver's license.

Someone stole a rubber hose that had been buried on the Solano Verde Ranch, 6909 Solano Verde Drive, sometime between Sept. 3 and 4.

A car parked in the 4700 block of Sand Canyon Road in Somis was burglarized and vandalized sometime between Sept. 3 and 4. More than $400 in damage was done to the vehicle.

Vandals caused $500 in damage and stole a fire extinguisher after breaking into Channel Island Condors near University Drive and Old Dairy Road sometime between Sept. 4 and 5.

On Sept. 6, vandals broke into bathrooms at a public park in the 5500 block of Mission Oaks Drive and broke soap dispensers, causing more than $400 in damage.

A cellphone accidentally left at Bank of America, 2400 Ponderosa Drive, was stolen sometime between Sept. 5 and 6.

A 41-year-old woman was arrested Sept. 6 at the Motel 6, 1641 Daily Drive, and charged with driving while under the influence of a controlled substance after she allegedly crashed her car into a wall of the motel.

A 30-year-old man was arrested Sept. 6 in the 2700 block of Barry Street and charged with spousal abuse.

A 24-year-old man was arrested Sept. 6 in the 100 block of W. Ventura Boulevard and charged with breaking a restraining order that required him to remain 100 yards away from the victim.

Two men , ages 20 and 21, were arrested Sept. 7 in the 4200 block of Blackberry Lane on charges of making criminal threats and possession of a deadly weapon.

A 31-year-old man was arrested Sept. 7 in the 700 block of Mobil Avenue on a charge of spousal abuse.

Between Sept. 2 and 7, police reported arresting 17 people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, two people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, six people were arrested on various drug charges and one was arrested and charged with being drunk in public.
