Wants voters to pass Prop. 8
      On the November ballot there will be a proposition to restore a law that voters decided in the year 2000 by a 61 percent majority. The law defined marriage as being between a man and a woman. At that time, the voters were correct in their decision to define a validly legal marriage as between a man and a woman.

Doesn't support unification
      Camarillo Unified's website suggests three possible ways to house students if Measure U passes. In my opinion, all of these options are unsatisfactory. The options include an overcrowded Camarillo High School, a magnet high school at Los Altos Middle School or a second high school paid for exclusively by Camarillo and Somis residents.

Says teen used 'hateful language'
      I read with great interest the letter from a young man, Clay Rutkowski, regarding the Eddie Money concert. While I applaud this teenager for expressing his viewpoint, I need to say that my family (husband and two young children) had a great time at the concert and were not aware of the alleged behavior described by Clay.
