A wallet containing personal identification and $600 in cash was stolen in the 2200 block of Pickwick Drive sometime between Aug. 10 and 18.

A purse was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the unlocked garage of a residence in the 5400 block of Butterfield Street sometime between Aug. 17 and 18.

An 18-year-old man was arrested Aug. 18 near Mission Oaks Boulevard and Woodcreek Road on charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol.

A $275 digital camera was stolen from atop a dresser in a bedroom of a home in the 44100 block of Village 44 in Leisure Village on Aug. 19.

It was reported Aug. 19 that someone stole a generator from URent, 92 S. Dawson Drive, on Aug. 15.

A 20-year-old man was arrested Aug. 20 in the 1800 block of E. Daily Drive on charges that he resisted arrest.

An 18-year-old man was arrested Aug. 20 in the 1600 block of E. Daily Drive on charges of possession of a weapon and resisting arrest by running away from officers.

A 27-year-old man was arrested Aug. 20 in the 2200 block of E. Pleasant Valley Road on charges of possession of stolen property taken from a residence in the 1100 block of Calle Suerte.

Nearly $8,000 in property was stolen from Nakano Nursery, 3900 Groves Place in Somis, sometime between Aug. 20 and 21. The property was recovered the morning of Aug. 21. Also, a van and truck were stolen from Griselda's Nursery, 4561 Donlon Road, sometime between Aug. 20 and 21. The two vehicles were later recovered.

A catalytic converter was stolen from a pickup truck parked in the 1200 block of Sparkman Avenue sometime between Aug. 20 and 21.

Someone entered the unlocked back door of an AT&T cellphone store, 1955 Daily Drive, and stole four iPhones valued at $800 on Aug. 21

A freezer and a treadmill were stolen from the porch of a home in the 600 block of Hacienda Drive on Aug. 21.

A 20-year-old man was arrested Aug. 21 and charged with burglarizing a home in the 1600 block of San Rafael Way around 10:30 a.m.

Vandals used a garden hose to damage the door of El Nativo Growers, 4790 Los Angeles Avenue in Somis, on Aug. 21.

A check and cash were stolen from a man in the 1700 block of E. Daily Drive between Aug. 21 and 22.

A 19-year-old man was arrested Aug. 22 in the 2100 block of Dexter Street and charged with stealing liquor from Longs Drugs, 760 Arneill Road. The teen also allegedly punched and pushed the store manager after the manager tried to stop him.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested Aug. 22 in the 1100 block of Ashbury Court and charged with pushing a sheriff's deputy.

A car stereo and a cellphone were stolen from an unlocked car parked near Fulton Avenue and Barry Street on Aug. 22.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested Aug. 22 in the 3200 block of Penzance Avenue on charges of battery.

During a traffic stop near Arneill Road and Barry Street on Aug. 22, a 36yearold woman and a 22yearold man were allegedly found to be in possession of pirated DVD movies and were subsequently arrested. Neither would disclose the origin of the movies.

A $1,500 bicycle was stolen from the front yard of a home in the 5300 block of Maple View Circle sometime between Aug. 22 and 23.

An undisclosed amount of property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 5800 block of Mulberry Ridge sometime between Aug. 22 and 23.

Vandals caused $4,000 in damage to a car parked in the 2200 block of Sanchez Drive by throwing a one-gallon can of paint onto the car's hood. The damage was done sometime between Aug. 23 and 24.

Burglars smashed the front glass door of Pacific Casual, 4015 Via Pescador, and stole $3,000 in computer equipment on Aug. 24 sometime between 3:45 p.m. and 4:22 p.m.

Between Aug. 18 and 24, police reported arresting 24 people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, six people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 14 people were arrested on various drug charges and two were arrested and charged with being drunk in public.
