Camarillo

Sometime between June 25 and July 15, approximately $4,000 in jewelry was stolen from an unlocked home in the 200 block of Lantana Street.

It was reported July 15 that sometime between June 28 and July 13, someone broke into a home in the 2200 block of Wilcox Street.

Vandals scratched the paint and broke the taillight of a car parked near Petit Street and Village at the Park Drive sometime between June 30 and July 14.

A lawnmower was stolen from the backyard of a home in the 40 block of Beverly Drive sometime between July 3 and July 15.

A debit card was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 700 block of Paseo Camarillo sometime between July 14 and 15. The thieves charged $278 to the stolen debit card.

Two cars parked in the 300 block of Brister Park Court were burglarized July 15. A car stereo and two sets of military clothing were reported stolen, totaling more than $2,800 in lost property.

A building in the 600 block of Temple Avenue, owned by the Pleasant Valley School District, was broken into July 15. Nothing was reported stolen.

An 18-year-old man was arrested July 15 in the 200 block of S. Glenn Drive and charged with serving alcohol to minors.

A 20-year-old man was arrested July 16 on a charge of possession of alcohol.

Between July 16 and July 17, police arrested eight adults in the 100 block of Valencia Drive on multiple drug charges, including the charge that the owner of the home maintained a place for the use of a controlled substance. On July 16, police also arrested two more suspects in the 1700 block of Del Prado Drive on various drug charges in connection with those at the home on Valencia Drive.

A credit card and a set of keys were taken from an unlocked car parked in the 7200 block of Camino Las Ramblas on July 17.

A 23-year-old male, a 14-year-old female and a 15-year-old male were arrested July 17 in the 7000 block of Quito Court on suspicion of prowling and looking into the windows of cars parked along the street.

A 19-year-old man was arrested July 17 on charges of commercial burglary at a business in the 2200 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A car was stolen from the 200 block of Camarillo Street on July 18.

Two iPods and a laptop computer, totaling about $300, were stolen from an unlocked home in the 3700 block of Hedge Lane on July 18 sometime between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

A 45-year-old woman was arrested July 18 and charged with stealing less than $400 in property from the Target store, 409 W. Ventura Blvd.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested July 19 near Cerro Vista and Calle Higuera and charged with possession of alcohol.

Shoplifters stole more than $400 in merchandise from Beach Bum clothing store, 740 E. Ventura Blvd., on July 20.

Two men, both 23, were arrested July 20 in the 200 block of S. Fulton Street and charged with fighting with each other.

Between July 14 and July 20, police reported arresting 19 people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, two people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and 19 people were arrested on various drug charges.
