Thieves stole $700 tire rims and a $60 gas cap from a car parked in the 900 block of Paseo Camarillo sometime between June 17 and 27.

Sometime between June 20 and 24, someone stole about $80 in property from an unlocked car parked in a garage in the 1800 block of Padre Lane.

A 24-year-old man was arrested June 23 in the parking lot of the Arco gas station on Arneill Road and Ponderosa Drive and charged with stealing a car from the 2100 block of Pickwick Drive.

A 44-year-old man was arrested June 23 and charged with battering a woman in the 400 block of W. Ventura Boulevard.

It was reported June 24 that sometime between June 21 and 23 burglars caused $400 in damages when they broke into a business in the 4700 block of Los Angeles Avenue in Somis and smashed the windows of three vehicles parked inside. A $500 tool box was also stolen.

A 23-year-old man was arrested June 24 near Rubio Street and West Chapel Drive and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon.

A mobile office parked in the 200 block of Wickford Place was burglarized sometime between June 24 and 25. About $2,400 in property was stolen, and the burglars caused another $2,200 in damages.

A shoplifter stole a bundle of wood from the front of Vons supermarket, 820 Arneill Road, on June 25.

A 35-year-old man was arrested June 25 in the 2600 block of E. Ventura Boulevard and charged with possession of a deadly weapon and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A 25-year-old man was arrested June 25 at around 1 a.m. near Village at the Park Drive and Village Commons and charged with possession of a dagger and burglary tools.

A 28-year-old womanwas arrested June 25 at the Camarillo Police Station, 3701 Las Posas Road, on suspicion of embezzling $95,000 from the Law Offices of Susan N. Holmes, 6030 Cielo Vista Court, between June 2007 and June 14, 2008. According to police reports, the woman admitted to the theft.

A home in the 400 block of Sobre Colinas Place was burglarized June 25 sometime between 1:15 and 4:30 p.m. About $900 in property was stolen.

It was reported June 25 that someone tried to open the locked gas cap of a car parked in the 2200 block of Camilar Drive sometime between May 15 and June 21.

A car parked in the 2400 block of Pickwick Avenue was burglarized sometime between June 25 and 26. An undisclosed amount of property was stolen.

An undisclosed amount of money was stolen from Berry Best, 3030 Dodge Road, sometime between June 25 and 26.

A pool heater was stolen from a home in the 400 block of N. Blanco Court on June 26.

Using cinderblocks, vandals smashed classroom windows at the Pleasant Valley Instructional Center, 2222 E. Ventura Blvd., causing more than $500 in damages sometime between June 26 and 27.

An 18-year-old female was cited and released June 28 on battery charges in the 700 block of Balden Lane in Fillmore for a fight she was allegedly part of in the 1600 block of Daily Drive.

Sometime between June 28 and 29, a business in the 4700 block of Los Angeles Avenue in Somis was burglarized. The victim reported nearly $7,000 in property stolen.

A 30-year-old man was arrested June 29 in the 5200 block of Hidalgo Street and charged with stealing a car.

A 46-year-old man was arrested June 29 in the 5300 block of Hidalgo Street on multiple counts of violation of parole.

A 21-year-old woman was arrested June 29 in the 1700 block of Ida Street for a felony out-of-county warrant stemming from an earlier arrest on charges of grand theft.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested June 29 on charges of spousal battery committed in the 700 block of Paseo Camarillo.

A 27-year-old man was arrested June 29 in the 1800 block of Colonia Place on domestic violence charges.

A guitar, valued at more than $400, was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 2800 block of Diamond Drive sometime between June 29 and 30.

Someone tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at the Nautica Clothing Store, 740 E. Ventura Blvd., on June 30.

Between June 24 and 29, police reported arresting seven people on suspicion of driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During the same time period, two people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 11 people were arrested on various drug charges and four people were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
