The decision by the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District board of directors to spend an additional $480,000 to lay sod at the Village at the Park sports complex is an egregious misuse of taxpayer money. Bob Kelley, Patty Hamm and Elaine Magner approved the use of sod rather than seed, while Mark Malloy and Paul Rockenstein voted against it. More ... |
