City considers paying developer close to $1 million to build in Old Town

      Camarillo has moved one step closer to renovating a blighted area of Old Town. The Camarillo Community Development Commission, made up of all five members of the City Council, agreed last week to pursue the development of an owner participation agreement with Taft Corporation for a project along Ventura Boulevard between Cedar Drive and Oak Street.

Senior center activities
      The Pleasant Valley Senior Center hosts a variety of classes and activities. The center, 1605 Burnley Street, Camarillo, is open from 9 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Activities include: •AARP Driver Safety, from 1 to 5 p.m.
