TV star will host CLU event in Ojai
      Larry and Maj Hagman will host a celebration in honor of KCLU from 2 to 5 p.m. Sat., May 31 at their Heaven Ranch in Ojai. The gathering will allow guests to roam the grounds and meet other KCLU supporters. Larry Hagman played J.R. Ewing on "Dallas" and Capt. Tony Nelson on "I Dream of Jeannie.

Art exhibit open until June
      Margery Spielman's exhibit "In My Backyard" has opened and will run through Sat., June 5 at the Discovery Gallery, 101 S. California St., Ventura. The gallery is at the Ventura Visitor's Bureau. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Agriculture art exhibit accepting entries
      The Ag Art Alliance presents the second annual Art About Agriculture Exhibit scheduled to run from Sept. 6 through Nov. 16 at the California Oil Museum, 1001 E. Main St., Santa Paula. The exhibit will explore all the facets of agriculture from workers to water, from machinery to soil and to the food that goes on dinner plates.
