Community college registration period open
Moorpark, Oxnard and Ventura accepting students
      Students can enroll at Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura Colleges and complete a full-semester class in four weeks during the summer. Four-week summer sessions begin May 21, and six-, seven-, and eight- week sessions begin June 18 at all campuses.

CSUCI names new provost, vice president
      Dawn S. Neuman has been appointed as provost and vice president for academic affairs at California State University Channel Islands. Neuman will assume her duties on July 14. She succeeds Theodore Lucas who will take on liaison responsibilities with the statewide community colleges for the CSU chancellor's office.

Military Leadership Academy opens its application period
Sessions for high school students
      Freedom Alliance has opened the application period for the Military Leadership Academy. The academy educates, motivates and inspires student leaders, and has graduated more than 700 high school students since its inception in 2001.
